Welcome to the interactive sheepskin
effeffelle is a, FREE to play, online interactive football management game.

The game gives you the opportunity to take over the ownership of a club. Buy the players, build the stadium, set the tactics, set the ticket price, get promotion, win the league!

Matches kick off every week day at 3:35pm (GMT).

However, the game is currently closed while we carry out some extensive work due to increased demand!

For more details send an email to the referee here.

Relaunch Details - updated 12th Feb, 2004

We hope to relaunch the game at the beginning of March. Since moving server we have carried out some extensive work on many aspects of the game, not to mention coping with the larger numbers of people wanting to play.

We have done the following so far.

Migrated to the new server
Added a chat area.
Multiple bids on players to stimulate the transfer market
Ditched the idea of contracts, they were just a pain.
Ditched Free transfers
Refined the internal messaging
Added email alerts when managers make bids on your players
Added email alerts to also tell you when you have been invited to play a pre-season friendly
A withdraw bid button, with email alerts
A withdraw friendly match invitation

Still left to do

We are now working on getting the game engine to produce more information about your players, so you can see who is playing well and who isn't. This should help your team management. Also we want to add match reports and get the booking/injuries working properly.

What's new?
Chat Forum
We have added a new '40percent style' chat area to give the game more of a community feel.
Improved transfer Market

To stimulate the transfer market we have made some changes. No longer can players be sold to the bank. Multiple bids can now be put on players. The effay also has to approve each transfer deal before it is made official.

Alerts
If you wish, you can now receive email alerts whenever a bid is made on one of our players, or if you are challenged to a preseason friendly match. We shall be adding SMS alerts is due course
